Greetings Residents:
We are pleased that you are interested in campus housing for summer 2008.  Living at IIT during the summer time is a great way to get to know new friends, advance your degree and explore Chicago. You can reserve summer housing through the Housing Services website until Friday, May 2, 2008 at 5:00pm.
Summer Housing is only available in MSV Graduate Hall.  Residents can choose between two housing options for Summer 2008.  Meal plan participation is required for all residents, and is included in the rate. Residents must apply for summer housing by Friday, May 2, 2008 at 5:00pm.

Summer Housing Options:

Option A: Spring Semester to Fall Semester

Dates: Sunday, May 18 to Saturday, August 16, 2008

Room Type: MSV Double

Rate: $2607 (includes 85 points per week)

Notes:

Only available for residents whom are living in the residence halls in Fall 2008. Meals included and available from June 2 to August 16.

Option B: Spring Semester until Summer School Ends

Dates: Sunday, May 18 to Sunday, July 27, 2008

Rate: $2206 (includes 85 points per week)

Notes:

Meals included and available from June 2 to July 27.

Cancellation Terms:
Residents can cancel without penalty until Friday, May 2, 2008 at 5:00pm.  Residents must cancel in writing.  All cancellations after 5/2/2008 will be assessed 50% summer housing (room with board included) charges.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Residents whom do not have a fall semester contract, must vacate by Sunday, July 27, 2008 at 12-Noon.
• Students will be required to move from their spring room to summer room between May 18 and May 23, 2008. Housing Services will specify a 24-48 hour window in which students may move.
•  Students will be required to move from their summer room to fall room between August 4-8, 2008.  Housing Services will specify a 24-48 hour window in which students may move.
• All residents are required to participate in the meal plan (85 points per week).  Please also know that the Grad Hall kitchen is not available to summer residents.
• All room and board charges will be applied to residents student account.
• Summer housing rooms are limited, and are on a first-come, first-served basis. 
• The Housing Services and Residence Life office reserves the right to re-assign residents as needed.

Residence Halls Close:
The residence halls close on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Noon.   Residents must leave the residence halls when they close, unless arrangements have been made for summer housing. There are no daily extensions for campus housing.
